MINFOF MEETS WITH OUTGOING BRITISH HIGH COMMISSIONER TO CAMEROON

Minister Jules Doret Ndongo of Forestry and Wildlife today Monday June 26, 2023 received in audience the outgoing British High Commissioner to Cameroon, H.E Dr. Christian Dennys-McClure. The farewell audience was an opportunity for both personalities to review and strengthen the wide-ranging bilateral partnership between their respective countries.

The Minister expressed appreciation to the British diplomat for the very fruitful cooperation that they had during his stay in Cameroon most especially in the support towards Second Generation Forestry Information Management System, abbreviated in French as SIGIF 2. The Minister of Forestry and Wildlife equally used the opportunity to request for more funding in the domain of biodiversity protection as well as institutional support.

His Excellency Dr. Christian Dennys-McClure was equally grateful for the admirable cooperation ties and especially in the promotion of forest governance and climate change issues.
